We are excited to announce an opening for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at our Lakeland, Florida office. As the COO, you will be at the helm of our operations, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing the technical services that keep our firm thriving. This is your chance to make a significant impact, guiding our team to success while aligning with the vision set by our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead with Purpose: Inspire and motivate our team, fostering a positive work environment that reflects professionalism to clients and the community.
  • Drive Performance: Propel the firm toward its key objectives and metrics, ensuring we meet our goals.
  • Strategic Leadership: Play an integral role on the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the firm.
  • Cultivate Future Leaders: Identify and nurture emerging talent within the organization to ensure a strong management pipeline.
  • Shape Operations: Develop and implement operational policies and strategies in HR, project delivery, and IT, while advising the CEO on capital investments.
  • Business Development: Craft and execute our Business Development strategy to drive growth and opportunity.
  • Financial Collaboration: Partner with the CEO and CFO on financial management to maintain fiscal health.
  • Risk Management: Oversee project risks, review high-value proposals, and ensure compliance in contracts.
  • Strategic Guidance: Support the CEO in defining and refining the firm’s strategic vision and objectives.
  • Enhance Efficiency: Continuously improve internal processes and optimize resource coordination.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control procedures, ensuring excellence in our deliverables.
  • Foster Learning: Assess and implement training needs to create a culture of ongoing professional development.
  • Safety First: Oversee the implementation of our Safety Program to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Project Management Support: Advise Project Managers on challenges and assist in resolving complex issues.
  • Team Oversight: Supervise Technical Services Managers and participate in recruitment, hiring, and coaching of technical staff.
  • Performance Review: Evaluate workload and staffing levels to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Promotion Oversight: Review and approve promotion requests for technical staff, ensuring the right talent is recognized and rewarded.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Take on other tasks as assigned by the CEO, contributing to the firm’s success.
